The Auction Room ROPS:
The Auction Room Rops organises monthly Art- and Antique auctions, with an illustrated catalogue. Rops sells paintings, silver, Asian and European ceramics and pottery, glassware, woodworks, metal ware, carpets, jewellery, sculptures, antique- and style furniture, etc. from different centuries (17th-20th).
PURPOSE OF PUBLIC AUCTION
Collectors, art or antique lovers, dealers or investors, our public auctions enable you to increase your wealth with valuable items, at prices you determine yourselves, by your free participation in the bidding. The auctions we organise are adventurous and captivating events, which explains the growing interest they have for an informed and increasing cosmopolitan clientele. Whereas through the estimated prices are sometimes greatly exceeded, our audiences generally do excellent businesses by bying fine items, most of the time in excellent condition and steeped in our arts and crafts history. It is a question of items which, after years of staying forgotten, inert, in private hands, appear on the market again, where they fully recover their impact.
